The believer who has seen Christ can no longer live as though he is empty. Once the reality of God becomes clear, life changes. Prayer changes. Perspective changes. Fear loses its hold, and confidence begins to grow.
Many spend their lives asking God for what He has already given. Yet Scripture says that through the knowledge of Him, we have already been given all things that pertain to life and godliness. The issue is not that God has withheld His promises—the issue is that many have not yet discovered what is already theirs in Christ.
Faith causes a man to live from that reality.
This is why the believer can stand in the middle of uncertainty and still remain at peace. He knows that Christ is within him. He knows that eternal life is already at work. He knows that God is not far away, but present, living, and active within.
When Peter stepped onto the water, he was not trusting in his own ability. He was responding to the revelation of who Jesus was. As long as his eyes remained fixed on the Lord, he walked above what should have overcome him.
The same is true for us. The more Christ is revealed, the more impossible things begin to lose their power.
This message is explored more deeply in our upcoming podcast session, where we unpack what faith truly is, how it grows through the knowledge of God, and what it means to live from the reality of Christ within you.
